Thanks to David Fagan for pulling our chestnuts out of the fire this morning (Sunday, Jan 11). We've been looking at changing the forum to a better server for a while and the time's at hand. We'll do our best to make the transition as painless as possible. We may to to a "read only" forum for a day or three sometime during the process in order to ensure we're moved over properly. Yes - names, passwords, post counts (except Ysabel Kid's - we're docking him 1 point for every dollar that gets tossed into the kitty starting tonight ) etc will remain as is on the new server. We're just changing the system to ensure things run smoother. So hang in there, the change over will happen over the next couple weeks. We'll update this post as time allows and things work their way through the system. Thanks to all who are making this possible.

Seriously though, a big +1. I don't know how you guys keep up with everything here, but I sure am glad you do!!!
I'll start packing my bags and cleaning up the place . We want to make sure we get our damage deposit back. I'm not cleaning up after Ysabel , he makes a big mess.
In another thread about the "Sunday Glitch" I was accused of breaking the Internet. Maybe I did and maybe I didn't BUT this time if the site crashes during the transition, don't blame me.

opps if you got a kick in the a... for a minute or two that was me, apparently when I took a snap of the database to check it out on the new site as a test run it appeared to stop everyone, or at least me when I went to check the effect on the site while I did the dump. (of the database)
