I had a G19 about 12 years ago - first gen. It was very accurate. I traded it for the Kahr-9 that I now use primarily for cc - mostly because its quite a bit thinner and better for my psyche - I don't worry about it printing....
As for the sub2000...

No, that's not me - but this kid does a good review of the sub2000 and competition - very entertaining IMHO

I look a little goofy in some of the shots - heck a lot of em!

But it shows you what the rifle is like to shoot and how it groups.
The biggest plus to the sub2000 is the ability to accept 33 round G18 (full auto Glock 17) mags. That is, the G17 model does. There are models that take keltec mags, smith & wesson mags and IIRC berretta mags too. And I now have a G17 to go with my sub2000,

so I can interchange mags if desired.
I have my sub2000 primarily for plinking with an relatively inexpensive round and to have in my jeep's cubby when I'm on the road - as some insurance. It aims and fires and places rounds much better than a pistol and gives a little more energy than the pistol as well. I'd feel comfortable taking on bad guys at 150 yards with this carbine - but no further - just not enough poop and too much drop and loss of accuracy.

Ysabel - thanks. I am the last one in the family to catch this... my wife had it just going into the Christmas holiday...
My case, so far does not include the sniffy nose and I'm hoping it doesn't - but the fever is very persistent. This is the kind of virus that gives a high fever and prior to the advent and availability of aspirin, this would probably kill people. So, once again, I thank God for living in my time...
