Great service + indoor range pictures

Post by Borregos »

Had a firing pin break in a Winchester 94 30-30 (pre 64) which was the subject of another thread.
Ordered one from Wisners on the 23rd December, it arrived yesterday, with Christmas and New Years in between I call that great service. The workmanship and quality are great too, fitted it last night and will try it out on Thursday at our regular indoor silhouette night :D :D :D

Pete,
You can try that baby out right now, if you so desire. :D Just load a fresh primer in a case, (nothing else! :o  ) and place the end of the barrel over a rag, then fire it up! Little to no noise with a closed breech. revolvers need the cylinder flash gap covered. I do it all the time when testing just installed parts, getting rid of old primers in cases, etc.---------------Sixgun

mescalero1,

Yes, indoors we have re-setable chickens at 25 yards and re-setable pigs at 50 yards. We have two banks of each, one for rimfire and one for centre fire.
If I use the 30-30 I only use light loads.

Dang, I'd buy a membership in a range that offered something like that.

Yes, it is a great club, there is a different shooting discipline each night from 6:00pm to 11:00pm and basically the range is available 24/7 apart from that. :D :D

I like to hear about merchants who do the RIGHT thing, since I put a lot of stock in that for future purchases. Thanks for posting.

Borregos. What part of Ontario do you live in? If close to me I might be interested in your club. I'm in Quebec but close to Ontario.

Iceman,
I am west of Toronto, the club is in Burlington, quite a way from you I think. I fish in Quebec on Lake Kipawa, are you anywhere near there??
