Washington DC was not for me

Post by t.r. »

Greetings!

I accepted a great paying job last September working for a contractor at Walter Reed. But I couldn't get used to to traffic, unfriendly city folks, and the congested spaces. I headed to Lancaster County, Pennsylvania for the Holidays and will not be going back to work in the city. Hoping to find a job in this area. SE Pennsylvania is good looking country to me.

Unfortunately, there are zero good paying jobs in western South Dakota.

On a positive note, I was able to take three whitetail does in northern Virginia with a crossbow I bought from Craig's List.
The bow is a Huntmaster Advantage which is the original company currently known as Ten Point. Accurasy is superb!

In summary, the West is still my home but I'm focused on working in the East for the next few years to build a retirement base. So it goes.

When you get to lancaster, we will have to hook up. I live in the next county over and Sixgun is on the other side of Lancaster. There are levergunners to the north too. good luck.

Sounds like a levergun meet to me in the near future.

:?: You mean with all the oil,gas and coal boom going on up there, and fast food outfits in Gillette paying 13$ , you can't find a job any closer than the east coast? :?:

I can't believe you didn't look at the upper reaches of the Shenandoah Valley...
