OT: AMAZING COINCIDENCES!

Many of you will recall that on July 8, 1947, a little over 60 Years ago, witnesses claim that an unidentified flying object (UFO) with five aliens aboard crashed onto a sheep and cattle ranch just outside Roswell, NM.

This is a well-known incident that many say has long been covered up by the U.S. Air Force, and other federal Agencies and organizations.

However, what you may NOT know is that in the month of March 1948, nine months after that historic day, the following people were born:
Albert A. Gore, Jr.
Hillary Rodham
John F. Kerry
William J. Clinton
Howard Dean
Nancy Pelosi
Dianne Feinstein
Charles E. Schumer
Barbara Boxer

Sorry if I miscalculated the collective intelligence of this great forum. I only thought to clarify that it was a falsehood, but I realize now that there is no pulling the WOOL over you fella's heads!

Not really thin skinned Jeepnik, but this particular joke has been recycled every four years for the past sixteen or so years. I laughed the first couple times that I heard it, but it has begun to wear a little thin simply because it is a caricature of Roswell based on false premises.

Roswell is one of the most conservative communities in the entire state. No Democrat contending in a nationwide election has ever carried either Roswell or Chaves County in the nearly twenty years that I have been here. We take the Second Amendment very seriously. Now if the location of the joke were say Albuquerque or Santa Fe things would fit more neatly.

According to Snopes, Al Gore is the only one on the list born about 9 months after the Roswell incident.
