Edward S. Farrow's "American Small Arms" - 1904
A very interesting and informative book from 1904. A complete scan - all 422 pgs
Marlin Info begins on pg 217, Winchester info begins on pg 315.
Be aware that it's 31 mb and might take a while to download on dial-up.
Right click on the link and "save as". If you just click it it won't load right. It's too big.

I've been so busy I haven't been doing my usual free association searches. I sometimes find some real jewels that way. I thought you might have done that or maybe had a regular search pattern that had provided it. Networking works though!

At over two + hours to download this I doubt I can keep this box on line that long.
Could one of you guys with a fast connection download this to a CD and send it to me? I'll gladly pay for it.
Thanks,
Joe
PS; I am trying to download it, but I have my doubts.

Nice. I'll let the wife know that thanks to your herculean efforts at the scanner, I will be spending this weekend reading this on my computer instead of weed whacking, fixing the pool chlorinator, checking the blower in the spa heater, and running another outlet on the dock. Good work.
... I love poetry, long walks on the beach, and poking dead things with a stick.
