Post by jnyork »

Anybody know the date and place for the next NRA convention, 2009? I checked their website but couldn't find it. Thanks

Minneapolis/St Paul, MN, but I don't remember the dates. Probably after the thaw.
I know a whole lot about very little and nothing about a whole lot.

Thanks, Jeff, just what I was looking for. They sure have a lot of them back East as compared to the Western states, it seems like. Phoenix will be too far for me as well.

I'm suddenly feeling the need to visit the in-laws in Goodyear, AZ in May. Now ... if I can just hide my ulterior motive from the wife, I'll be set.

Where in the heck did I get Minn/St P from? I'm losing it......

Phoenix is doable. Portland to Phoenix is a lot easier than the last 4-5 years of midwest/east coast conventions.

It's about 1000 miles of driving for me, and then when you get there you have to fight the horrendous Phoenix traffic.

Looks like I'm going to have to schedule a visit on my customer in Phoenix! :D

I'm doing the happy dance right now. The very first NRA show I attended was in Charlotte several years back. The 2010 show is scheduled for Charlotte, and I'll be taking Y2K out of school to attend that one!!! :D

IMHO, the NRA Convention is not OT; they will have some nice lever rifles on display there. :)
