OT Got the Kahr back today

Post by piller »

The Kahr which I had problems with after a case rupture came back today from the factory. It looks like new and was at no charge. If further firing shows any problems, then I will post them so that anyone wanting to buy a Kahr can have a little more information to use in the decision making process.

Wow that was quick. Or at least seems like it.

Nifty pistols. Been wanting one for a while.

They do make good little pistols. I bet you're glad to have it back.

I see where Kahr now owns (?) and is making the Auto-Ordnance M1911A1s. Anyone handled or shot one of these? I wonder of they're made in USA.

I have 3 Kahr pistols and I have spoken to customer service on 3 occassions - none of them because something was wrong with the guns. On each occassion I received prompt attention, including sending me overnight at no cost updated/upgraded parts! A PM40 has over 3400 rounds though it without a single jam and a PM9 has 600 rounds though it without a jam. A P40 Covert only has 500 rounds through it but and I don't use it anymore but it has never skipped a beat. Good luck with yours Piller!
