OT sorta - Obama and reloading

Post by rjohns94 »

O-man had his 30 min adds on all the major channels tonight so instead of watching it, I went and reloaded a couple hundred rounds of 38 ammo, until I ran out of primers. Not sure how that happened so I did an inventory of reloading supplies I needed and will fill that order tomorrow. I just thought it appropriate to cause him to waste campaign money on not reaching me while I spent my time - saving money - by reloading ammo. Tomorrow will be .45 acp, then next day 45-70. Isn't this an awesome country.

Steve tells me my '92 (.357) is on the way and I am sooooooooooooooooo looking forward to seeing that beauty show up, perhaps by Friday. I got my sxs ready for hunting pheasants and tree bacon this saturday am. I organized all my loaded ammo, my reloading supplies, and filled a box full of stuff to be given away. All the while, the O-man was talking to the country, and his worshipers were singing his praise and I didn't have to listen to it!!!

Mike -

Excellent and quite appropriate use of your time! I did not soil my ears listening to his lies and garbage either. Hopefully it will be $4 million poorly spent, but unfortunately he has a lot more where that came from. McCain ought to go to the Obama campaign and demand that he "spreads around some of that wealth" - all the donations he's collected - to all the other candidates!

I'd rather stand out in the middle of the freeway buck naked than listen to that Hitler wannabe prattle on for even 10 seconds.

Now somebody should sue the networks and force them to give McCain equal time.

I too spent the time last evening in my Gun room. Last week I bought a Remington 550-1 at a local toy store on the used rack. It was made in 1952, the 550-1 is a Semi-Auto that shoots shorts, longs or long rifle 22's. This one was really dirty, this may be the first time it was totally cleaned. It was so gummed up the bolt would hardly pull back. Well, it's clean now and ready for test firing tomorrow morning.

We spent the evening watching shoot 'em up movies.

Mike,

Bet you're gonna love that '92.

Steve worked over mine about a year ago and it has really become one of my favorites. When I first got it it would shoot .38s just fine but wouldn't feed more than two or three 357s at a time. Now it shoots just about anything and that action is slicker than whale snot! New sights too.
