Cimarron Yellow Boy in .38Sp; need advice

Post by 2571 »

I have a chance to buy a .38Sp Yellow boy in "immaculate" condition for $600. I shoot a lot of .38Sp pistol (Model 10 S&W) & am set up for reloading that caliber.

What advice can you give me? I am not in CAS; I wouldn't use this rifle for hunting, just killing pop cans & paper.

I've never had an Uberti, so all advice is welcome.

My Uberti 1876 was a beautiful and well functioning rifle. Good luck with your purchase. I don't think full wad cutters will feed well but once you find the bullet it likes, it will give you years of service and joy.
