Working on it - time's a premium 'round here and now my morning's shot 'cause the sis-in-law is coming to stay a while with us so now my "tinkering" office is going to be consolidated into my regular office for a while. Once I get the move done I'll be back up to speed quickly, I hope. Anyway, yes, I've been fooling around with the idea of consolidating as many announcements as possible.

I to dislike all that stuff at the beginning of a forum ! Not just this forum but ANY forum !!! But I also realize it serves a purpose for some people .
But what bothers me more is the fact that the stuff is at the top of EVERY page when you go back !
Once you wade thru it the first time is it relly necessary to "waste" almost half of every page with that stuff ! I mean if I didn't go in one of the threads on the first page what makes you think I want to see that when I get to the 12th page
