Update: OT Aloha Friends & Brothers

Aloha my leverguns friends and brothers, just wanted to let you know I'm going into surgery tomorrow to remove 2 discs in my lower back along with all the installation of more titanium hardware along with bone fussion using artificial bone, will be in the hospital for a week minimum then 6 months of recovery wearing an aluminum corset. Won't be around for a while but can use some extra prayers if you can spare them. Thank you one and all for being there when most needed in the past, some of my best friends reside here. Take care and we'll talk some more when I'm better.

Thank you for all your positive thoughts and prayers they are all appreciated very much. I was recently lent a laptop computer with wireless connection my house already having a wireless modem and the connection test was 100% successful with a strong signal. May not be posting but at least I can read from my bed the forum to keep me entertained while I heal, and the timing should be good just as the elections are over I'll be back home and the topics returning more to guns and the outdoors.

I can't thank you all enough.

I have been there, done that with the back surgery. Mine was not as radical as yours, but the relief from pain was wonderous. I pray that your surgery is as successful and we will soon see more pictures of your dory and the fish you catch.

Heal well friend.

The MDs took one of my sister's vertibra. They replaced it with a titanium basket full of cement. Pretty wild stuff. Less painful than she thought. Even the brace was tolerable.

I left a couple of my discs in an Army hospital in honolulu. My procedure came out just right, been trouble free for many years. I hope the same for you. Prayers up.
