Some time ago I got some Winchester Red stock oil from WINCHESTER RESTORATIONS out of Buffalo City, WI. I have since lost the instructions for applying this oil, Altho I do remember it was about a month long process. Most of that drying time. If anyone has these instructions I sure would appreciate a copy.
I checked the net and found that they had a web site http://WWW.WINREST.COM but cannot get it to come up, so they may not be around anymore.
Appreciate any help.
Thanks, Roughcreek

Hi RoughCreek...
I have one bottle of that Old Winchester Stock Oil and I wish I had several more. I think these are the instructions you are looking for. How about posting some "before" and "after" photos on the Forum. Good Luck with your refinish project!

Re: stock refinish
Mod71Alaska, that is what I was looking for. Thanks. I will post before and after. This is for a 94 Marlin.
Marlinman93, I tried Tapaderas on another gun and like it also. It was easy to get even coverage and a nice color. Then I handrubbed Birchwood Caseys on it several times. That was on a Ruger 10-22 walnut stock.
Thanks, guys
