HUNT SAVER SIGHT - Anybody heard of them?
I saw several references to these in books and magazines from the late 80's and early 90's. I am curious what exactly they were and if they worked as intended. Doe any have any recollection or experience with these?

You may be referring to a set of sights that were installed on top of a scope. The theory was that, if your scope went south for whatever reason, you could use the sights installed on top of the scope and "save your hunt".
Sorry, I don't have any pictures.
