OT: Colt Commemoratives

Post by Doc Hudson »

A friend just called to ask me a question about a gun and I've no idea how to answer him.

He has been offered a NIB, unfired blued Colt Alaskan Pipeline Commemorative Revolver in .45 Long Colt. I am totally clueless on the values of commemorative firearms, and can not find any information on this revolver. He was offered the gun for $1200.00.

Do any of you guys know anything about this revolver and anything about the value?
