9422-22 Magnum??
I know a guy who wants to sell a Winchester 9422 in 22 magnum. He is asking $500 for the rifle. I think I can pick it up for a little less than that. The rifle is in excellent condition. I really do not need a 22 magnum, but I am thinking about buying it any way. Do you guys think I would be able to sell it pretty easy for $500 if I decide to go ahead and buy it?? Tom.

Good ones can cost more than that over here. I would not hesitate if I was looking for one.
I stupidly sold mine a few weeks ago and bought it back with in a month!

If it is excellent, it is a pretty good deal. If you were to resell it would probably bring $575-$600 max. on one of the various auction sites. Just my thoughts. 1886.

Depending on condition that sounds pretty fair. I would if it was nice and I had the money.

Depends on the model too.
Legacys bring a higer $ as do laminated stocks etc. Even saw a nickle plated version a few months back. Sharp but I wasn't going to part w/ a $1000 for it.
$450-500 is pretty average for slightly used in my area.

If you shoot it, you will not want to sell it. They are great fun and very handy. IMHO

I'd go that for it. A Henry Magnum Pump retails for around that as well.

I do not need the rifle. I already have one. I was just thinking about buying it to resale. I handled the rifle once about four years ago, and if I remember correctly the rifle was in perfect condition at that time. I am sure it is in the same condition as it was then. My memory is vague, but for some reason I am thinking it is an XTR. But I am not positive about that. I think I am going to go look at it this weekend.
The same fellow sold a 1895 Marlin in 45-70 for $325 yesterday before I got there. And it was NIB. I think that was a pretty god deal. But for some reason he is more proud of the Winnie. Tom.

Four days ago, I would have bought it in a New York Minute, as they tag for about $700, here in New England.
But, I already spent my poke, on four guns last weekend.

Slickrock I can not figure out how to use the PM. I tried to send you a reply but I can not get the PM to work properly. I am sure I am doing something wrong. If I pick up the rifle I will post on the forum. Tom.
