Here we go again - we will see another "assault weapon" ban as soon as Obama is elected - I'll bet this time they word it so that more than the evil black rifles is included, or addable later.

Those living in Ohio just got a reassuring speech from their governor that Obama won't go after their guns. Yeah right.

The Pine Hills area of Orlando is the heart of the hood. That and the surrounding area has become Dodge City the last couple of years. The homies run around shooting it up over the same old vices. Until the court system stops its revolving door policy the same little group of thugs are going to continue playing cowboys and homies.
They say they want the guns off of the streets but when they catch a thug with a gun they plea bargain down to a traffic infraction so that the prosecutors can bolster their conviction rate. The Federal government has laws on the books mandating prison sentences for felons in possession of firearms but they too refuse to prosecute.
The thugs have nothing to fear,no one is going to do hard time. So they continue with business as usual.

Mean while the wise leaders on the hill stand and make pompous speeches about crime being the fault of the gun and they must get all of the evil guns out of the hands of law abiding Citizens, that'll stop crime.
Might as well pile em up and bundle your guns with baling wire so that it will be easier to haul them down to the confiscation center if obma is elected.

Just because I shot my Chronograph, you think I'm stupid, dont'cha. Well, you see, er.. I posted it in 'classifieds' on purpose, see, because when Osama gets in office, everybody will HAVE to sell their guns. So it wasn't me bein' stupid after all. I was right all the time.

Hadn't got to your post on blasting your chrony yet! I actually missed the forum altogether Saturday - just catching up now. I always start in the classified section - it's shorter to go through, and I'm always looking for a deal!

I fear you're right about having to sell our guns...

A real hazard for those of us who live in the "View Active" window...

"They just disposed of them like disposable cigarette lighters, I guess, because they're so easy to get," sheriff's homicide Detective Dave Clark said Friday. "I mean, it's really unusual for people to leave stuff like this behind."

What a bunch of BS. The headline says it's a trend that worries cops, however, the police said nothing about a trend. They say it's never happened before. That's not what a trend is.

And they're speculating as to why they were left there. They really have no idea, notice the cop said "I guess". That's right, he guesses. Maybe it was because they're so easy to get, but maybe it was because they're hard to hold sideways and they're glad to be rid of them. They don't take the same ammo as their "nines". They don't come in brushed chrome.

I also like the alarmist stuff, where they say cops arriving at the scene were in danger from bullets. Duh. Some of them pierced a car door! One even FLATTENED A TIRE! Oh my!

Time to put the state of Florida on lockdown.
