I am thinking about purchasing the Lyman 21 style reproduction receiver sight made by Providence Tool Company for my Browning Model 1895 .30-40 Krag and my new-production Winchester Model 1895 .405. My concern is that since I am a lefty, would the sight's locking lever mechanism come in contact with my hand, especially under recoil? Do any of you who are left-handed have any experience with this sight?

I don't like the looks of the brass parts on that sight. A $300. original Lyman 38 with windage adjustment looks pretty good to me. I have couple of the N code 21s, but need a 38.

I have the Ukrainian sight from Buffalo Arms on a Browning and have no trouble shooting from the left shoulder.
