I'm so set in my ways that driving is always better. But a test ride was in order for your passenger's sake. I love the skull mount, do you attend World Wildlife Federation meetings with it? It would be a great hit!

The small stoves are a hassle, going to switch to making a fire and heating water in a coffee pot. When we get some snow that is.

We took a short ride back in the hills for a cup of cocoa, plus mounted a scabbard on the car to carry a little protection.

I love peace and quiet. Looks like you found some there.
Kirk: An old geezer who loves the smell of freshly turned earth, old cedar rail fences, wood smoke, a crackling fireplace on a snowy evening, pristine wilderness lakes, the scent of
cedars and a magnificent Whitetail buck framed in the semi-buckhorn sights of a 120-year old Winchester.

After further investigation of MN. gun laws about transporting a firearm it is not legal the way the scabbard is on the sidecar.

Gun must be in a fully enclosed case unloaded with some exceptions for hunting situations.

I have removed the scabbard and will not carry that way.
