I shoot alot of 357's and 44's. Living in Illannoy if I was to settle for a single caliber I would go with the 357. A matching caliber lever goes without saying.

I'm a Ruger man all the way. My choice, 4" stainless Security Six in .357. Security Six's just have that classic look and are real workhorses to boot.

I'm gonna throw out another one here. It won't do for deer hunting (unless an emergency) and some will hate this choice. But IMO, one of the best trail guns is the Ruger Single Six in .32H&R.
