The historical record of Hitler's manipulation of Germany's Constitution is there for anyone who desires to comprehend his "blueprint" for Fascism. In a few short years, Adolf Hitler went from paroled felon to National Socialist Party Leader. Once lawfully elected as Chancellor, he proposed and instituted a number of laws to temporarily nullify the Constitution. Temporarily?

The Terrorist Act centralized Hitler's power and removed most civil liberties from German citizens. This law paved the way for Hitlers Dictatorship and eventual Fascist Police State.

The Terrorist Act was passed by Germany's Parliament because of ongoing terrorist activities. These activities included burning of gov't buildings, shootings upon border guards, highly publicized murders of Judges and Clergy. These acts were blamed upon communists and Jews. Parliament was deceived. Hitler had secretly ordered these events and used the media to showcase and amplify his need for the Terrorist Act.

What's my point? Be watchful for the signs.

The problem with Naomi Wolf's book is one of complete and willful blindness to the MOST IMPORTANT "step" in devolving a nation... and that is civillian disarmament.

She still believes that the "control" on a Federal Standing Army un amok is the National Guard because it's "under the control of the Governors".

Also, she is largely in the "Right is Wrong" camp, and, again, mostly willfully ignores Leftist destructions of liberty.

Other than that she's not far off...
