I like that but I say it’s easier to increase the cyclic rate. There’s an experimental AR developed by Colt that had twice the rate of the standard AR……the one example I had in my hands came out of the Colt Archives vault…..a stubby little thing that was designed to be mounted on the sides or the back of tanks for Muslims sneaking up with an RPG…….I don’t think barrel life was factored into the equation.:D
