Winchester 1886 new sights
A short while ago I asked for advice on which sights I should put on my 1886 Extra Light. I choose the Firesights and am happy with them. It was no issue getting them to fit, but I did have to get a taller front sight to make it work. I even checked using a laser bore sight projecting out to 100 yards and lining up the open sights with the red dot. This ensured I had the correct front height.

I like firesights. I have them on my Flinchlock. My only problem with them is that (IMO) past 75m or so the front bead is just to durn big for accurate positioning.

I've never shot a rifle with fire sights on it. How do they work for you?
