gforce shotguns
recently went duck hunting using 3 inch shells with bbs. they kick a bit in my pumpaction. i want a semiauto , and on a budget right now. Anybody have any experience with gforce shotguns made in turkey. they have good reviews. they sell for about 200 bucks out the door.

Re: gforce shotguns
I've seen ads for them but haven't paid them any attention as I'm the proud owner of a Benelli M1, others just don't light my fire. Sure it's not a gas gun but it will digest anything.
Waterfowl loads are obnoxious but turkey loads are worse!

Re: gforce shotguns
All the ducks I’ve killed have been done in with 2 3/4” shells in 20’s and a 16 shot charges never higher than an ounce in either . All double barrels . All the geese I’ve killed have been done in by 2 7/8” 10 gauge with 1 1/4 ounces of Bismuth .
Parkers , Mannlicher Schoenauer’s , 6.5mm's and my family in the Philippines !
Re: gforce shotguns
Might I suggest for ducks go a little smaller say #4’s if steel and #5 or 6 if Bismuth . Heck I never use heavier than #1 or 2 Bismuth for geese .

Re: gforce shotguns
I played with a GF1 in home-defense configuration and ran about 50 rounds of slugs and buck through it. It cycled every time, although a pin in the trigger group tried to walk out. Easy fix. As I recall the importer is based in Nevada. Very responsive.
Re: gforce shotguns
That's cheap enough to use as a paddle if it stops working,
For maximum recoil reduction you want a gas operated gun, if that's what a Gforce is then you should be good to go. I do use 3" shells but with 1 1/4 oz shot, no need to super size more than that.
Geese I use bb's, ducks #3, #2's are ok for heavy late season birds.
