Political Humor - Little Catherine

Catherine, a little girl, expressed a desire to be President one day after watching Hillary's run for the nomination this year.

Both of her parents, liberal Democrats, were standing there with us, and I asked Catherine, “If you were President what would be the first thing you would do?”

Catherine replied, “I would give houses to all the homeless people.”

”Wow, what a worthy goal you have there Catherine,” I told her (while both parents beamed), “But, you don't have to wait until you're President to do that. You can come over to my house and clean up all the dog poop in the back yard and I will pay you $5 dollars. Then we can go over to the grocery store where the homeless guy hangs out, and you can give him the $5 dollars to use for a new house.”

Catherine (who was about 4) thought that over for a second, and then replied, “Why doesn't the homeless guy come over and clean up the dog poop himself, and you can pay him the $5 dollars?”

I smiled and replied, “Welcome to the Republican Party, Catherine!”

Actually, if she became a republican, she would take your $5, keep $3 for herself, and give 2 homeless guys a buck each to pick up the dog poop. You're happy, she's happy, and not one, but 2 homeless guys have a job and are happy.

Prayers up and fast! I learned a long time ago not to show anything to "liberal chicks" at work. They tend to (a) have no sense of humor, (b) don't like truth being pushed onto them and (c) like to cry "harassment" at the drop of a hat!!!

HAAAAA!!!!!!! Yeah, make sure to duck and cover if you toss that one at her. The "liberal chicks" I've met tend to be all emotion w/ very little interest in coming to logical conclusions about things.
