Re: My son Jaeger graduates today
I suppose parents' obligations are to nurture and provide guidance to their children until they are ready to be fully independent. I'll admit that it hurts to be empty nesters. Our two kids got their respective educations in NM but then one moved to OKC, married and had a child, the other moved first to the Houston area and then the Ft. Worth area. They are both successful professionals. I do wish I could see them more often. I'm very proud of them both but they got away and began their own lives way too soon. Hold them tight while you can. I wistfully think of the wonderful times we all spent together shooting, riding ATVs and motorcycles and camping. Those were the days, my friends.
Congratulations, Scott!
Congratulations, Scott!

My hat is off to all! Cybersecurity sounds like a wise choice for a major. I wish him luck.
The most important aspect of this signature line is that you don't realize it doesn't say anything significant until you are just about done reading it & then it is too late to stop reading it....

That's well-deserved pride, Herr Tschirhart!
Re: My son Jaeger graduates today
Wow, that's quite an achievement!
Knowing what we do about you from your posts here, I'd say he's sure not to let that go to his head. I'd also bet he is street-smart, a great kid and a gentleman, and not just a book-smart nerd.
