.
A while back ,weeks/month or so there was a post about putting together a backpack that your could just pick up and head to the woods. Kind of a "Bugout" bag. Can anybody find a link to that? I tried searching to no avail.

I don't remember that thread but I'm sure others might chime in.
My old youth minister had what we called "camp-in-a-box". It had dishes, a tent, a football, frisbee, softball/gloves, tarps, pots/pans, ect. We kept it all in a big plastic tote and when we had to go, it was sitting there ready 24/7.

A bugoutbag is one thing but a ready to go hunt bag consists only of the bag and whatever you use when hunting. You need drink (water), maybe fire, maybe rain protection, knife, ammo, direction finding (map, compass, GPS), dry socks (I'm a firm believer in having a spare set, or two, of dry socks), and toilet paper (I got tired of using leaves a loooooong time ago). I wrote up my version of a possibles bag for modern gun hunting...

Ah,...that's it,..Thanks.
I've got a hunting bag ready. I thought it might be fun to put together a bugout bag as well.

A BOB can be anything and everything. It's up to the user and their requirements and capabilities. I pack on in my rigs where ever I go. I never know what I'm going to need or when. I've used it numerous times.
