Thanks all! I don't post here much anymore, but do stop by every couple of days just to see what's happening. I appreciate the kind thoughts.
Turned 68 yesterday, and spent a good part of the day in the animal hospital, trying to stabilize my daughter's 15-yr old cat, who was suffering general body failure symptoms from what might have been a stroke. The docs weren't successful, as it appears her brain stem had been damaged, so breathing difficulties, convulsions, throwing her head back, etc. Had to put her to sleep as she was suffering. Sad birthday all around.
