A little bird just told me... Re: Freedom Arms

Post by AmBraCol »

OK, so it was a big 'ol wild turkey... :D

Freedom Arms unveiled a totally new handgun at The Shootists' Holiday today.

HINT - It's not a revolver.

All the note said was "it isn't a revolver" - that leaves a LOT of options... but being from Freedom Arms you know it'll be top of the line - what ever it is...

Hobie, I overheard a conversation between Bob Baker and a fellow Shootist at the SHOTSHOW, so I knew FA had something more significant in mind for their 25 year aniversary than a special coin. And I knew it was going to be revealed at the Shootist gathering, but other than that, I know naught what it is! Unfortunately, I don't think it is a levergun. We shall see! I think I'm going to have to call someone on his cell phone!

After looking at a lot of their guns online I have to agree with you there. Whatever it is, there's a high probablility of it being pretty-sweet in nature.

I got the report yesterday that it will keep all shots on a 36" (as in "inch") target at over 1000 yards ....

Hmmm... in the right hands, (not mine of coourse), I got rifles that could do that. AND a bunch that probably couldn't!

I won't hazard a guess, but if wishin'd work....

I heard the initial offering will be in .375 JDJ. Personally, I would like to see it in 45-70. Now that will get your attention early in the morning. 8)

Tutt, you look heavier in your avatar now. If this thing is a contender like gun, I would have no interest.

I never liked single-shot pistols, until now.
Hopefully, the review will be posted later today. I have the review typed and emailed to Boge along with the pictures, but the video is too large to email, so i will have to deliver that to him later today.

The little bits and pieces I've managed to garner in different places and through various informers intrigue me... Can't wait for the review. It's going to be another of those "WOW! That's NEAT! Wish I could afford one!" guns. I'm not much on single shot pistols either, but figure a guy should have ONE anyway. I keep waiting for a deal on a Contender, but folks just don't price them in my range. What's the word on street price on this one, or do they know yet?
