Easy 357 mold question
Whats that standard old 158gr swc all the cast bullet companies offer a bulk 500rd box of? Any story or history there? Was it a match winner or gold standard at one time? Never heard any reasoning as to its popularity. Thanks

Re: Easy 357 mold question
Yep, as mentioned those are basic Magma 158SWCs. They call it a Keith Style, which it isn't, since EK would not have approved of the bevel base nor the three unequal driving bands. I've found they generally shoot better than the .44 and .45 versions, which are a bit more "square" dimensionally & which makes them more prone to tipping, especially the barely .429 ones.
Re: Easy 357 mold question
I was always partial to the Lyman 358156 mold . It’s a 158 SWC with GC . I had Lyman factory molds for this in regular and HP .
