Short barrel revolver video

Post by 3leggedturtle »

Im really into buying short barreled revolvers and pistols lately. I'd have the Alaskan in 44 mag ir 454 Casull if they werent so scarce and pricey. Of course I would not shoot full power loads in them.

30/30 Winchester: Not accurate enough fer varmints, barely adequate for small deer; BUT In a 10" to 14" barrelled pistol; is good for moose/elk to 200 yards; ground squirrels to 300 metres

250 Savage... its what the 223 wishes it could be...!

Looks like fun but I'd do a heck of a lot more shooting with a twenty two.... :D

Todd Love my Alaskan in 454, had a few shorties in my time but always let them go, the big ruger fits me well
300 gr. Lee cast bullet shoots nice between 900 - 1050 fos, any faster & i can start to feel it
with 200 -250 gr. cast bullets around 800 fps. is fun to shoot & train myself for D.A, shooting
