Welcome, should be interesting.

Welcome to the fire.
I have a couple rifles in .44 magnum. While I like the nostalgia and fun of 44-40, the 44 magnum is a whole lot easier. Especially if you intend to shoot in volume. It makes a great rifle cartridge IMO.

Careful of our 'pool of knowledge' ..... sometimes it gets a little 'deep'...
If I only could have one levergun though, it would probably be a 44 Mag, only a Marlin most likely.
Welcome aboard.

Good luck! Have fun with the .44 Magnum. I shoot more .44s than just about anything.

Thanks all.
To answer my location - I am in Bothell, Washington.
I also am planning on doing a lot of hand loading, which is new to me. These forums have been a great help in gather what limited supplies I can.
