wonder what this will bring? this is the original 1885s browning made in utah before joining forces with winchester. have seen pictures in books but not for sale before!

Gents, that rifle has the early "Ogden, UT" barrel stamping (a + 40% premium), making that a $25,000.00 rifle, at a minimum.

Me thinks it would be tough to verify the authenticity of that rifle. Even the rarest rifle in the world isn't worth spit if you can't verify...

IMHO, That gun would be it's own verification (if one knows what to look for), as it's one of the few hundred made by J.M.Browning (in his shop, anyway), before Bennett saw the gun & Winchester started buying his models.
