Just saw one on AA and wanted to know how many were made?
Can you date this one? Ad shows 1927 heading, 1937 in text.

Thats only the 3rd or 4th Savage I've seen in .30-30.

I own a earlier (1908) 1899 in .30wcf with octagon barrel and crecent butt.

One day I will transfer pictures from my other drive and post em

Look's like a honest gun, no extra hole's that can be seen. Ugly recoil pad added. Wonder if the stock was cut. Savage's in Winchester caliber's are desirable. If bore is good I think it's worth it.
