I was kinda hoping a "snowflake" was gonna grab a cub and help the mother carry them across the road...
30/30 Winchester: Not accurate enough fer varmints, barely adequate for small deer; BUT In a 10" to 14" barrelled pistol; is good for moose/elk to 200 yards; ground squirrels to 300 metres

Re: Herding Cats...err...bears....
There was a place where elk kept going back-and-forth across the road and stopping in the middle, and my son was part of a group working for the department of natural resources that was tasked with moving the elk far enough away that they would not create a traffic hazard. One of the guys on the team got kicked in the face and it just about killed him. I think he lost an eye...

I sure would have stayed in my car. That momma bear looked big enough to cause damage.

When stationed at Eglin AFB our problem was gators. They sun themselves on the roads. One large one in particular was chased off regularly.
Usually the sky cops could just make noise and it would crawl back into the water. Other times it just refused to move. When that happened we’d take a crash truck out and give it a quick squirt with the roof nozzle.
They were still protected so it was likely illegal but back then the military still acted like it was in charge of its bases.

It tells me a lot of good about this group. Quite a few hunt, and so far no one has said anything about hunting. Everyone seems to like the video. Ethics of hunting only in season and of allowing the young animals to grow up as is natural, as well as finding amusement in the antics of the young are showing in all the posts whether meant to or not. Read between the lines. This is a group of good people.
