Hello, I have two Winchester 94's that I would like to estimate the value of. If anybody could help I would greatly appreciate it:
1.) Winchester 94 Golden Spike Comm. new in box with papers.
2.) Winchester 94 (circa 1948-1949) in around 80% condition - some normal minor wear and aging but in pretty good shape mechanically.
Thanks for your help to any and all who can give me some idea of their worth...
Need a value estimate on two Winchester 94's

yes, pictures for sure.
But if you want to know the actual going rates right now, go to the auction boards and do a search - only look at the ones with bids - those are the ones that show actual value or going rate. Gunbroker is a good source.
That's what I do and have done well - get what it's worth and they sell quick to boot.

AZHunter, welcome to the Forum. Hagler is correct, if you want a good guestimate, pictures are mandatory. Prices are somewhat in flux, as condition, area and rarity are really driving prices. In some areas, you can still find a good 94 for under $400, pre-64s range from $500-1100, and most commemoratives are going for between $400-$800, unless it's a JW in .32-40 which I've seen go above the $1500 mark on ocassion. Pics could refine those estimates.
