Shooting The New Christmas Present

I found this gun at Christmas time and decided to buy it. It is a real nice original 1886 Deluxe 45-70 There were plenty of rocks to sight it in on out to and beyond 100 yards. I didn't have to adjust the sights at all, I just shot the gun as it came, no disappointments...

I was asking Myself how long before He shoots that.. "old".... thing...............................Well that was Quick!! . I don't think it will be long till some varmint needs some medicine . Thanks for the pictures. :D .

Now I am at the Dillon 550 reloading every 45-70 brass. Gotta' be ready....

That's a beautiful rifle. I often wonder if my ancestors ever shot their rifles on paper. We have so much prickly pear.
