Mosseberg M151M

Post by GunnyMack »

So a friend dropped off a Mossberg 151M today so I give it the once over. They recently aquired this and were told it didn't functioning reliably. First off I figured it was filthy- nope clean inside, actually this gun is 90%!

Anyhow does anyone know about the front sights this model has? Its spring loaded with a ring, a thin lollipop post and a thick post. The problem is each of the 3 don't stop in the center of the base. Flip the ring to the left and all 3 go, leave the ring to the right and it flops around.

Numrich doesn't show this sight, did a little looking online but no soap.

Anybody have knowledge of this sight?
