You got it John, it`s a buggy wheel jack ya slide it under the axle so it sits on one of the shelves then pull the handle down and it will raise it enough to take a wheel off. :)

That's a cool tool Lenn. My Grandfather was a wheelwright and we still have lots of his tools here on the homeplace but I've never seen a jack like that before so it's a new one on me. I remember one of our neighbors having a buggy still parked in their driveway when I was a kid. No grass growing under it either.

Fire a levergun big enough for that to be the rear sight elevator and you will need an orthopedic surgeon to put your shoulder back together.

That would be one big lever gun
Gunny back when we had horses we thought about having a buggy or a sleigh for winter but those days are long gone.
Growing up we had a golden lab her name was Lady, one of the best dogs we ever had.
Lived to a ripe old age but then she ran across a hay mower and cut one front leg off but she came through that and got along on three for a few years but we finally had to put her down from other issues, i like those brown labs.

I had a Lady as well! It's been said you are blessed with 1 perfect dog in your life- that was my Lady. She was a BIG black Lab, 96 pound female is in heard of ( that isn't fat anyway) I trained her with hand signals, would retrieve anything, hunt anything. She decided to jump out of the bed of my truck one day, tearing up a knee BUT she limped to the pheasant she smelled of saw and flushed it. That wound up being a bone spur that went undiagnosed for years and arthritis wrecked the knee.
My Yellow lab, Dixie was a scardy cat, thunder, gunshots, loud stuff just kept her ducking for cover. She developed cancer in her eye,vet removed it but that dreaded cancer returned, almost 14...
Now I have Winnie, I call her a blocholate, her mother a chocolate and her sire was black- you can really see the difference in her coat. She only hunts chipmunks & squirrels. Claro is my chocolate, Winnie's daughter- if you look up bird crazy in the dictionary it will show a picture of Claro! Parker is my black- so black she looks navy blue in sunlight. She is bird crazy but just as happy to hunt chipmunks! I hope to breed Parker soon!

My Dad was around when most people had buggies or wagons. He was born in 1929. I need to ask him if he remembers seeing one of those devices.
