I don't think so. I want my beer to taste like beer and my food to taste like food. I often drink beer and eat peanuts together, but I don't mix 'em before hand. Though I have known people who do... I don't hang around with them any more.

I'd try it if somebody else bought it, but wouldn't want to buy a six pack and get stuck with it if I didn't like it. Not a fan of flavored beers in general, and we have such a fantastic variety of fine microbrews around here that I prefer one of those to any flavored beer.

Well I will confess to liking my IPAs and my ales, but agree the hops can be taken to the point of medicinal bitterness.
A favorite here in NM is the "Elevated IPA" from La Cumbre Brewing in ABQ:

I like beers with some body, but not too dark, or too hoppy. I hate light beers, as they're too watered down for me.
I grew up in a German household where my dad and my uncle made their own beer. We grew up drinking beer with our dinner from as far back as I can remember. It was just a small glass when we were young, and by high school a full 8 oz. glass. We never thought anything much about it until friends came over for dinner and were shocked that we drank beer!
Of course my friends were disappointed when they didn't get a glass of beer with dinner. My dad told them they'd need their father to call him and say it was OK. Nobody ever called to do so.

.
Historically, I don't really care for flavored beer. I dislike most IPAs because there is a current fad to brew them bitter and hoppy. Might as well suck on a piece of an old tire.

That said, I favor a flavorful red ale. I don't mind a decent light, and I like dark beers, dunkels, and stouts.

I generally don't care for lagers, but recently I encountered one that I find quite palatable. A Texas brewed lager from a brewery down in Fredricksburg. "Amstadt" brand, I believe.

:)
