Interesting - I guess we are all accelerating 'up'..... perhaps some spiritual implications there.

I have never tripped and fallen to land higher than my starting point.

I guess that even Einstein could theorize something and still be going against proven science.

I tried that once. Departed an HH-43 about thirty feet above the ground. Discovered (like Newton only more forcefully) that gravity always wins. And flying doesn’t hurt. The landing is another story.

Merle Haggard at first wanted to try to hide his having been in prison from the music fans. Johnny Cash told him to be open and honest about it. Let them know he had made a mistake and paid his price. Don't be proud of it, but don't be ashamed of it either. Merle followed Johnny's advice. I do not know of anyone worth knowing who holds Merle's past against him. None of us are perfect. I would bet from what I know of Merle, his faith led him to have his past washed away. I am not the one who has any say in it, BUT I would be really surprised if he is not up there rejoicing.
