This may be off topic but still highly relevant for this group. The following link is for those of us that would like to buy American made products whenever and wherever possible. The MSNBC website had an article today on this subject.

Thanks for the heads up. This should be a sticky.
Forgive my aside here but for those of us parents who buy wooden trains for our kids, forget the folks(Chinese made) that poisoned our kids with lead and get some of these which are USA made..made in Missouri:

They run on Thomas/Brio track and have great detail and quality.

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8
Those are some cool loking wooden toys! Last year during the lead paint/chinese toy scare a lot of parents who came into my office lamented the fact that almost all toys are made in China and American consumers don't have much of a choice in that regard. I did think there would be more interest on this subject from forum members.

I would buy a US made 1892 if there was one... or US made OEM ammo if it didn't cost an extra $5/50.

A manufacturer of wooden toys that's located about 20 miles from me; the company name has been "in business" since 1789 -- that's right, it's as old as the USA:

Holgate trivia: Jarvis Rockwell, brother of illustrator Norman Rockwell, designed many of the Holgate toys in the line, starting in the 1920s. Some of those classics are still made today.
