Very cool, Lenn. Is there some type of reed in the little bellows below the nest?

Pitchy,

You have not worn out your welcome. Don't even think that. Many times I like the things you make, but since my neck went to hell, and I lost much of the control of my fingers I can't type any more, and hunting and pecking is a PITA, so I don't say anything.

Keep 'em coming I do enjoy them.

After seeing this I just had a brilliant thought.
It seems that animals take better care of their young than many people do.

Pitchy,.....don't ever think for a minute that Your talent goes unnoticed. I am often humbled by the wonderful things that You and Norma get done . We have up to four Grand kids here depending on the day of the week it is , My Mother in Law is dying and will very soon meet the Lord, and if I can do five hours of work in a day without My arthritic hand giving out I'm a happy Guy. You have brightened Our Day here many times more than You could know. Thank You. Jim.

Until I got the video going I couldn't imagine what made it go. Good one bro. Actually put my bibbies on this AM and got outside. Temp here was 63 and only got up to 82 with 48 percent humidity instead of 98. Looked out a box of 45 LCs loaded with black so I can fire the conversion Army I built a while back. Think I'll cut the barrel to 4 3/4" from 8". Just too long.

Pitchy, the things you do are creative, amazingly fun to see, and as much a part of old style life as a levergun. Your abilities are right up there with anyones. Not to go into Politics, but with how things are now, your ability to create things could be as much of a lifesaving skill as any other could be. Between you, Jim T, AJMD429, and GunnyMack it would probably be enough knowledge to restart civilization in the event of a catastrophe. There are others on here with good knowledge and skills. Not deliberately leaving anyone out.

Back to my point. You can dream up and create things that are fun to see, and could easily be adapted to making life better in the event of the worst things we typically imagine actually happening. You might not see it yet, but that bird setup could be adapted to blow oxygen on a fire to control the heat for blacksmithing. My creativity is the kind where I can see to adapt something that someone else came up with in the first place. I seldom dream up the item from scratch.

Lenn, you have created so many amazing things all of which have fascinated me, my favourites though we're those Pop Pop boats and steam boats. I still have a couple of Pop Pop boats, the simple technology is both interesting and fun. 8) I half expected you to build a full size Pop Pop canoe..... :D

A couple folk art mooing cows, some probably remember the little cans you turned upside down then upright and they moo`ed that`s what`s inside them.

Ingenious. I don't know how you do it. If I had set out to do even just one of your many projects several years ago, I'd still be trying to figure out how the thing would work and not even gotten started making anything yet.

Haha neat. Never saw the "mooing" cans. I've only ever seen the deer bleat cans for hunting.

Those cows are cool Pard. Like Olwin said I've got one of those cans that bleats like a fawn. Keep it in the shootin' house. It calls bobcats.
