I am seriously considering mounting a scope on a pre-AE Model 94. This mount looks pretty good in that no additional holes need to be drilled.
Anyone used one?
Any views on side mounts in general?

I have a B-Square on two long barrel Pumas (44 mag and 357 mag) and like them. Both I've used short, light scopes on, because the torque could be great with a long or heavy one. No problems with a 4x 20mm or a Barska 3-9 IR compact, though.
Ejection hasn't been a problem with these particular guns - the brass still flies over your right shoulder and hits whoever is behind you!
Strange to get the crosshairs level (they always seem tilted to me when they aren't), but once you get it done you get used to them off to the side.
Accuracy is fine, and they work with tang sights on the gun and vice versa.
I've only dismounted and remounted one, but zero was not detectably changed at 100 yards (judging by 95% 6" gong hits).
