Tense situation I'm glad I haven't had to be in

If the crowd had started up his sidewalk, WHEN would he have started shooting...?

At least from the look of his home, he probably can afford a good lawyer...

I think his wife would have been more intimidating up on the balcony with a shotgun.
If more men loved and cherished their wives as much as I love bacon the world would be a much better place.

They did what was required, and it kept the protestors from damaging their property, or assaulting them. That's all that counts to me. Good job.

It didn't end that well, though - the 'system' is now coming after them, with a state prosecutor vowing to bring the full force of the law against the couple for 'being violent' or whatever nonsense-phrase they can come up with.

The guy should have stayed INSIDE his house or if he was outside, should have been unarmed. He was provoking by being armed against unarmed protesters and hollering. Yes, the protesters were being idiotic by protesting in a neighborhood they had zero chance of ever living in and soon would have been past his house. The PT were not on the man's property, nor did they shows signs of perpetrating an invasion. The man and his wife were obviously showing their strength.

It's the BARRIER....That barrier is the man's house or if your in a car, the doors or window. They break the barrier, you break them.

It's all up to you....do you want to be a bad dude and show your stuff and deal with the courts or do you bite your tongue and let them pass....or do like I do....have a Trump sign 6' into my property with a 200 lb rock behind it so when a liberal decides to mow it down they are gonna need some axle work done.---6

The grey area is, many states do not have a stand your ground law and you are actually required to run, even flee from your home, unless cornered before you can legally shoot. However, this is what is going to have to happen. People have got to be willing to stand up for themselves, to turn this around.

We can sit here and pick apart his gun handling and what she should have been doing, but in the end, both went to bed in their own home safe and healthy. I can't say what I might have done if I were I that situation, some say perhaps he should have donned his Battle Uniform, assumed "the pose" with his AR slung high across his chest, wearing his "tactical gloves, tactical sunglasses", with his pants bloused in his "tactical" boots, etc., and not moved while perhaps hundreds of BLM protesters (at that point how violent?) marched down the residential street in front of his house. But you will note, none left the sidewalk and approached his property...

Really doesn't matter if they had a stand your ground law, since the couple didn't fire on anyone. But I'd guess the liberal prosecutors could possibly charge them with brandishing since they were showing their firearms to keep protesters from damaging their property.
In today's environment the authorities expect you to let the criminals do damage or harm, and then react. It's illegal to protect yourself from damage or harm in their minds.

Ha!...New news just in! Something I didn't see previously...even on Fox.......Seems the PT broke a community gate and some of them had firearms as well as verbally harassing....That sure changes things a lot.

Let the civil war begin.....

Six, I think it already has.

The scum are going to get shot eventually. The press will then be yapping endlessly about some white gun owner shooting poor minority people trying to "peacefully protest". Meanwhile, this furthers the leftist attempts at gun control, as does pulling police when the violence ensues.

Best thing we can do is like you said, don't give them a reason to question our response, be perfectly in the right, then strike with overwhelming force.

I hear ya Kid.....the chaos has got so bad and sooooooooo unbalanced the silently majority is becoming unnerved. I have no idea what this is all about as I'm not smart enough to see what the underlying motives are.....none of this makes sense....looks like the left is purposely looking to start a war.

I hear it all the time from people, "what the heck is going on and if they want a war they are stepping on the wrong toes."
Statues...even Lincoln! Mount Rushmore! George Washington! The churches and Jesus! That last one is the straw that broke the camels back.....

All to get rid of Trump? Naaaaa something else is going on.......just be prepared.....----6

"....looks like the left is purposely looking to start a war...."

Yep. And they will actually WIN, because there are only two outcomes history has shown us:

a) they have the 'news' media on their side, and hit with a huge legislative slam after some altercations riles them up and gives them the excuse to 'clamp down' on the 'rednecks and raaaaaaaaaacists' who got violent against the 'poor little innocent minority victim'... They are already doing this with the police - minorities now have 'Black Privilege' where they are allowed to resist arrest and assault police, without consequence...the cops are supposed to just let them do whatever crime they are doing, and perhaps knock on their door a few days later, to see if they have changed their mind are are willing to 'let' themselves be arrested finally.

b) there is an all-out civil war, and out of that chaos, some government structure finally takes charge and restores order. That requires FORCE, and by definition means a totalitarian-style police-state. Even if run by 'Republicans' that won't go well, and will mean all sorts of new rules and laws and restrictions - most likely skewed against the 'conservatives' in order to placate the masses and mobs of illegal aliens, welfare-queens, and socialists.

We had better get EVERY conservative out and EVERY one of them had better take along six friends who are "moderates"... :| :| :| :| :| :|

Doc,
Nada.....the left won't win.......when push comes to shove there are not enough leftist cops or military personnel to force the right to the lefts demands. WE will win......History has always shown that righteousness prevails in the end.

One thing for sure...at my homestead, IM gonna win..---6
