Good lookin' goose Lenn. Just don't let 6ptsika get that 8 gauge aimed at it. I've got a couple of sets of those blades that I just couldn't throw out. Now I know what to do with them.

I like that one a lot Lenn -- well done!

If my wife sees it, I'll be following your expert lead and making a crappier (I'm sure...) version...

Thanks fellers, Merle there hasn`t been enough wind to turn a blade but might be after while looks like a storm is on the way.
I`ll leave it out for a while and see if the wind comes up but then i`m putting it in the shop.

2 weeks ago, I visited my Parents out in Liberal, KS. That Monday and Tuesday the wind averaged 40 miles per hour, with gusts up to 55. That might be a little more than needed to make that whirlygig work.

It did damage roofs and knock down trees and limbs all over. The temperatures were in the upper 40s to low 50s those 2 days. That town was the geographic center of the dust bowl.
