Sorry to hear, Lenn. Glad it went to a good home.
Don't blame you with the old Shovel. That thing is cool.
Just dug mine out this afternoon. Took a little ride. Weather is finally warm.
"Oh bother", said Pooh, as he chambered another round.

I sold my 2007 Electra glide and BMW 1150GS awhile back for same reasons as I’m only good for about 50 miles round trip max. I’ll keep my 85 FXR to the end.

Glad you were able to bless him that way. You know I let one of my boys buy my 66 considerably cheaper than any one else. Still have the iron head sporty and will probly let a grandson have it. There's another 66 in the basement in pieces that will ??? I can't hardly walk so I'm not ridin'. Re-upped my DL today and it was FREE. See, being old has some advantages.

Way to go. Glad to see your son is interested in riding. When I can't ride anymore I hope my son will take my lowrider.

Thanks again parts, actually he used to own the bike but was broke and needed the money so I bought it.
Well he's still broke and he should have it but the deal is he has to keep it until i croak which he said he would.
Like said I can't ride it and I think things being unused is hard on stuff.
Money doesn't mean much to me we get by and that's enough.
