Welcome to the Leverguns.Com General Discussions Forum. This is a high-class place so act respectable. We discuss most anything here other than politics... politely.
Please post political post in the new Politics forum.
For quicker notice on things like this, you can contact me by addressing an email to my username, but follow it with an @ symbol and gmail dot com. We're busier than ever here in Coffee Country so I don't get much time to cruise the forum so it's easy to overlook something like this thread.
With that being said, when I saw this thread this morning I did three things, confirmed the issue, expanded the number of messages allowed in the inbox and contacted our dear David the Tech Wizard. I know that he's working his fingers to the bone with the current situation so we'll have to see when he'll get a chance to check it out.

Heard from David, he'll get to it once he gets a chance. He's working like a one armed paper hanger with a dollar watch and the seven year itch.
So this kind of s... I hope to fix this but a new "fixed" version would be better
The other thing you mention, I know I'm a little slow but I'm just not following this.
"There's another issue showing up as well, with the link back to "General Messages" at the top of the page not working.
The only option is to return to the Forum Index and then enter General Discussion again."
I'm going to his submit on this and try once again to understand...
OH NOW I get it, yeah that stinks. Let me do something about that.
I like it but I don't want people to jump up and down, can I have a few victims?
I want to change your "style" theme to a new one, the old is not compatible with the newer version of the software we had to upgrade to.
They haven't made and compatible upgrade and I have to twiddle with it anyhow. So... I'd like to go with a new compatible style.
There's a box at the bottom of each page just below "Post Reply" that says "Return to General Discussion". I just click it and it takes me back no problem.

Very true, I noticed that but we all are people of habit and it's broke
The other problem is really a lot more of a problem I really don't want to pull a git and apply a diff patch, that's ugly and it can make you (probably not, maybe) compatible down the line. I got to many other people to help too, gun guys are great, and I need the simpl(ier) fix.
I have no idea how much private messaging is happening, I kind of hate it, but I'm looking.

Please reduce the banner at the top of the new screen so I can use more than 40% of my lower screen!
Let stick with the new look thread I do want to help you. I didn't "force" all users yet, when I do I know I can flip certain users back to a old theme.
If the author of the original theme actually updated it to be compatible I would have not changed it just updated. You get kind of screwed real fast if you don't keep the different parts of the forum (the theme) compatible. This was a major version of the forum a 2.9 to a 3.0 I suspect more things will now come down the pipe (remember this is all FREE for this version and old theme becomes risky.
The new look is odd - because it's different. I'm not getting the non-scrolling header some have mentioned. Whatever theme is running as of 9:30 a.m. CDT on May 11, 2020 seems to be looking good. Haven't checked the message deletion problem today, but the theme looks good.

So you kind of have to see it, I didn't even catch it at first or I wouldn't have picked it. the header stays on the screen (and keeps the space) as the rest of it scrolls "under it".

Doesn't on my screen anymore. The header disappears as I scroll down, just like it used to. I did have the issue of it not disappearing before, but it works now. I thought you fixed it since I complained about it previously and it began working soon after?

I just deleted a pm so it looks like David's got it fixed. Great job! Tell the boss you need a raise.
Problem is I am the boss and all my people I'm leaving home unless I can send them to another building by themselves to work.
This work ... it's for young people, I'm not a fat guy and I've lost almost 10 lbs,
I guess this exercise does work, 6'3" was 203 scale is blinking on the low 190s.
Now I have to go through them and delete all the old unneeded ones.
Then clean the barn.
Then the pantry.
Then my office.
.....oh Dear.....
Tis be me, I just didn't realized how much people us PM and how many messages people had until I heard it was 400, wow....
Anyhow this is fixed in the next minor version, I got patches out of it so it won't break.
