Winnie 94 AE date of manufacture

I have a winchester 94 AE Ranger chambered in 30-30 WCF that I purchased used.I am curious what was the year of manufacture.The serial number is 6317xxx.I would like to know as I am planning on giving the Rifle to my son in law for his birthday next month.
