Marble's Sporting Rear Sights.

Post by gamekeeper »

I have just ordered a Marble's rear sight for my Winchester 9422M. The original sight has been messed with so I thought I'd try a Marbles sight.
I emailed Marble's and asked which model number I need and they emailed me back within half an hour! I checked MidwayUK and found the deal would cost me over £30 British. I then checked Numrich Arms and the whole deal works out at just over $24 American. MidwayUK seem to over charge by quite a lot, so Numrich gets my order yet again. :D

Plus I've managed two consecutive non OT posts!

Great! But I didn't know that you Brit's could have a repeating rifle? Or is this at a club like target pistols?

I believe that Nath and Gamekeeper have jumped so often through so many hoops that they are contenders in this year's "Britain's Got Talent".

I think all us fools in the Kommonwealth are in the same boat, komrade prime minister and his cronnies want to keep us safe so they make sure that everything they dont want us to have costs twice as much.
The AU$ is trading at 95 cents on the US$ but anything gun related costs at least double what the Yanks are paying.
A rifle that costs US$500 should cost AU$531 plus freight but it ends up costing us about $1200.

But it could be worse, I believe in Poland its illegal to own a baseball bat without a license.

Hmmmmm... I ought that was a bit of an exaggeration, but:

NIOA Trading, Australian importer/distributor: Marlin 336A .30-30, RRP AU$825.60 (US$777.71)

Same gun retailed by Riverview Sales, East Windsor CT: US$390
